A tangerine and russet
cascade
of kaleidoscope leaves
creates a tapestry of Autumn
magic
upon the emerald carpet of
fading summer.
Judith A. Lindberg
Autumn officially begins today! And my husband and I also celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary! More than enough reason to celebrate I think! For our dinner I will make my favourite fall dish; oven roasted veggies (the first parsnip, red and yellow beet, carrots, garlic and potatoes, all from the garden) with feta cheese and a garden salad by the side.
When I saw this carpet of leaves on the ground, I immediately knew Autumn is really here. Isn’t it a pretty mix of warm autumn colors? Summer is saying goodbye and we’re welcoming Autumn now.
May your days be filled with warmth, happiness and the light of candles!
