June the 21st, isn’t this the day we’ve all been eagerly waiting for?! Finally we can celebrate the beginning of summer. Is there a better way to start it by picking fresh and colorful flowers in the garden and arranging them into a summer bouquet?
” What is one to say about June,
the time of perfect young summer,
the fulfilment of the promise of earlier months,
and yet no sign to remind us
that its fresh young beauty will ever fade.”
We will celebrate the start of summer in a simple way by enjoying a freshly baked quiche and for dessert a homebaked galette with rhubarb from the garden. Do you have some summery plans for today?
I wish you all an abundant and joyful summer!
