‘Cozy Lights’

Leaves are whirling in the air, falling down and covering the paths in the woods with a soft carpet. The trees are adorned in burnished ochres and ferns are turning into warm toffee brownish hues.

As the days grow shorter and light fades, we retreat in our homes and slow down. It's time to make it cozy inside and to find light in small rituals, like lighting a candle.

Autumn is a perfect season to create our own cozy lamp and candlelight holder in soft porcelain with natural imprints to capture the autumnal beauty.

During this workshop, for beginners as well as advanced, we will explore the unique properties and possibilities of paper porcelain, especially its transparency.

You'll learn how to make plates in paper porcelain with real flower imprints and modelled details to create you own personal candlelight holder and lamp.

Practical information:

The price of this one day workshop is 255€.

Including: homemade lunch, refreshments and sweet treats, drinks, all materials and firing of your work, fitting, lamp bulb, and wiring with plug and switch installed after baking. You'll get a €40 discount if you wire it yourself afterwards with your own materials of choice.

When your work is fired (within 6-8 weeks), you can pick it up in my studio or I can send it to you (these shipping costs are not included in the price).

The workshop will take place in my studio in a small group of 5 (and will only take place with a minimum of 4 participants) and will be hosted in Dutch. But if necessary, I’ll gladly speak English.

If you're coming from far away, it's possible to stay at our cozy B&B. You can book it here or directly by me. You'll get a discount of 10% on the B&B when booking it in combination with a workshop.

Cancellation: in case of cancellation more than 30 days before the workshop, you'll get a refund of 75%. Less than 30 days there's no possibility to get a refund.
