Enchanting and quiet November
For me, November is a month of stillness and reflection. Especially in this digital world full of hustle and never-ending noise. Maybe you feel the same and also long for a quieter world.
In this blogpost you can read more about my thoughts on this topic, accompanied by photos of an enchanting and glittering world.

The gentle rhythm of September
September... often described as a "hinge month', a gentle turning point between the openness of summer and the grounding rhythms of autumn.
A month which allows us to take a moment to realign our days , to reset and embrace a gentler rhythm.
New work inspired by Cornwall
Cornwall ... for me it's definitely a mysterious kingdom with Celtic roots and folklore, fairylike woods and ancient walls, hidden coves and dramatic coastlines. It is rich in natural resources such as granite from which china clay is mined.
In this blogpost you'll get a glimpse of my new creations inspired by my artist in residence in Cornwall.
A hidden library and charming corners in Antwerp
It's summer and time to enjoy some day trips. There's particularly one day out I would love to share with you! So I hope you will accompany me to Antwerp, a famous port city in Belgium with amazing architecture and a hidden library.
Artist in Residence in Cornwall (part II)
I'd like to take you with me on a journey in a beautiful and authentic part of the UK which I will always hold close to my heart. I've had a wonderful and very inspiring time last May in Cornwall during my artist in residency. This opportunity was part of the prize for New Ceramics I've won in Oldenburg in 2023.
As an artist, it was a most precious gift to have the space to slow down and to be creatively refreshed and inspired. Time to wander in the Cornish nature and to discover the history of mining English porcelain.

Herbarium - a floral love story
The garden in June is a colourful palette of different shades of green, mauves, pinks and whites. I wish I could capture its beauty for ever. But there's this never ending cycle of growth and decay.
However, there's a simple way to treasure the garden's beauty a little while longer... by making an herbarium.
It's an act of love to carefully pick a flower and press between the pages of a book. That's what this blogpost is all about!
Travelling through the South of England (part II)
Inspired by Emily Dickinson's herbarium
I recently read a book about old herbaria and came across some of the pages of Emily Dickinson's herbarium. I was fascinated by it and created a one-of-a-kind porcelain collection inspired by her pressed flower in this 150 years old herbarium.

I’m a high-sensitive person and maybe you're too. Perhaps you're wondering how this affects my life and what it looks like to be a sensitive artist. Or maybe you're sometimes struggling too with this sense of feeling differently in how to perceive the world with all its stimulus.

Why I'm quitting Instagram
For me, this past winter has been a season where I took the time to rest and did things slowly. And it was also a period of reflection, introspection and hibernation. For quite some time now, I'm struggling with Instagram. After much thought and consideration, I finally decided to quit. In this blogpost I'd like to explain you the reasons why.
Weaving winter stories
Today’s blogpost is all about weaving a soft and snowy tapestry of words, stories, poetry and the heart of winter.
